There are times that I think I'm never going to grow out of that elementary school fascination with cute baby animals. When the Scholastic book club flyers came out, if there was something in it with baby animals...posters, stickers, picture books...I was begging for it. I must still be seven years old.

By clicking on this Animal Planet link, (http://animal.discovery.com/convergence/pandas/pandabirth/pandabirthphotos3_04.html) you can see photos from the baby panda exam.

By clicking on this Animal Planet link (http://animal.discovery.com/cams/pandavidr.html), you can watch the baby panda and his momma in real time.

He's so dang cute!!! (he was cute when he was a stick of butter too)

On the live link, is that the baby on the floor? I figured he would be all snuggled up with mama. Pandas are so cute; they look just like stuffed animals. I think it's something about their eyes.

Yup, the little guy is on the floor. Soooooooooooo cute! (I swear I'm still seven...today I was talking with my boss and somehow we got on the subject of ponies. "I wanna pony!" LOL)

That's how I am with stray animals. It's so hard to turn one away. Of course, that's how I ended up having 5 cats in the house.

I hear you on that. I have the Blackberry, who is half blind, half deaf, and all stupid because I couldn't leave her to die on my grandma's porch. I am not, however, allowed to have more than 2 cats. More than 2 cats and I risk turning into a stereotype. My friends are unwilling to let that happen. *grin*

I'm a lot older than 26...some of us never outgrow it. :)

I know! During the hurricane I "adopted" a kitty for about a week. He was clearly someone's cat. Had a collar, very clean, loved people, litter box trained... so kept him and tried to find a home for him. But couldn't so we took him to the animal shelter. I became so attached to him and started to miss him. I call him Kitty. Just the other day we saw a cat that looked a lot like him. Made me think of Kitty. However, I absolutely love puppies. That is the one that gets me every time.
