Maybe I didn't do it right, but I was going to submit a quiz on MS trivia. If I'm not mistaken, it will only allow one question per quiz. Is that right? I wanted to pose several questions in the same quiz.

Just put in the question, then the answer type. Then hit add question to quiz. Then fill in the answer selections if needed. Go back up to the boxes above the add question button, and add your next question, then hit the button again.

I tried it again tonight and finally figured it out. I put up a quiz on Halloween stats. I guess it'll be up as soon as aaron approves it, assuming he will.

Approved. You will have to message me or something if you submit one because it doesn't alert me that there is a quiz in the system.

Here's what happened when I tried the quizzes:

An error has occured, the following message has been left below:

Your usergroup does not have access to participate in this particular quiz.

should be fixed.

So there's no mechanism to alert all the users that a quiz has been posted?

Maybe we need a new forum to post this? What do you suggest, aaron? Since you have to approve them, it wouldn't make sense for the quiz maker to post it, because it may take you a little time to do the admin thing.

Just PM me with a note to approve and I will PM back after approval. Then, I would just post a thread telling everyone about your quiz and some information about it.

Okay, but sounds like a lot of work on your part.

But then again, there probably won't be very many quizzes anyway, unless you've got some really good uses for it that I haven't thought of yet.

Another thing I noticed (I mainly did this quiz just to see how everything worked), is that it won't tell the quiz taker the correct answers, at least I didn't see any way to do it. So I took the quiz myself, answering everything right, so that those who take the quiz can look at my stats to see what the answers are. However, this results in me being the leader on the quiz - probably not the best way to rate the leaders.

Lastly, for those wondering, I got the quiz questions and correct answers right out of the Clarion-Ledger today.

yeah, I don't see a way to automatically approve them, so that's just how the process will have to go. I don't think it'll be that much work. Also, I can mark to let everyone see the correct answers. You'll have some aliases taking the quiz, then the real name getting all the answers right if you do it that way though.
