Both USM and Ole Miss do not play this weekend. USM plays Tuesday (of all things..) I'll do another vbookie for that event later in the week.

You know if Tennessee loses (as expected) to Notre Dame Saturday in South Bend, they'll be 3-5. Nothing like that has happened since Johnny Majors last year, when he was canned and replaced with Fulmer.

You think Tennessee might pull an Ole Miss and can Fulmer over one losing season? I'm not sure Tennessee will even beat Vanderbilt in a couple of weeks.

Before anyone says anything about my bet, I don't really believe State will hang with (over rated) Bama. Being an Ole Miss and Southern Miss fan, I have to put my support behind MSU in hopes that Bama will overlook State, get beat, and drop out of the Top 5 rankings (much like TCU and Cal when USM beat them the past couple of years). Bama does NOT deserve to be ranked #4 in the nation. They almost got beat by USM, they almost got beat by Ole Miss, ...

I cant find a sure winner this weekend in college football. Tennessee & Miami look like good plays but they are both on the road and facing real good teams. I might have to wait and put the whole bank roll on marshall tuesday night against USM :smt102

I imagine the anti-Urban Meyer web sites are going to be cranking up if Vandy actually wins this one. After winning their first four, Vandy has lost its last four, including that one to Middle Tennessee State.

I just checked the danny sheridian spreads and he's updated the bama/msu favoring bama now by 37! Wednesday it was 17 1/2..

We got home this afternoon, flipped on the MSU game at halftime to the score of 3-0 and was very excited as it looked to be a good game. Then Bama scored like twice very close together. So we flipped to the Notre Dame/ Tennessee game since TN had scored and tied it...then Notre Dame just starting scoring...and then it wasn't such a close game anymore.
