I am neophyte to this community and this seems like a forum, which I might give back to the community and others the vast knowledge I have accumulated over the past.

what does neophyte exactly mean?
Hmmm, this may be tougher than I thought.
Welcome, Genius! We're waiting for you to start spreading some of that knowledge. :)

This quote was by Howard Thurman, American Theologian, Clergyman and Activist, 1900-1981.
Welcome Genius. :smt006
QM, I think that was a quote from Howard Thurman, not The Genius himself speaking.

Yes, you may want to take some time to evaluate how this community communicates to each other. Grandiloquent speech just doesn't work in any public forum and gives people the impression your pompous. I'm sure you'll become a more effective communicator if you spend a majority of your time reading and listening to other's correspond. Don't worry, we would all like to see you succeed and we'll definitely try to improve your handicap. Welcome to the forums :smt006

For the less gifted, you should be aware that The Genius knows things even if invented by others. I can write E=Mc2 without being Albert Einstein.
Every man is your superior in that you can learn from him.

Genius, evidently you haven't learned anything from what we've been saying. We welcome new members with open arms, but not to be talked down to by them. Instead of coming here and throwing insults at us for being on the lower level of the IQ chart, why don't you actually converse with us instead of at us? I'm sure you have some interesting thoughts to share that we might actually enjoy hearing. And you just might realize we're not as dumb as you seem to think we are. We're giving you the chance; that's the least you can do for us.

TheGenius isn't hiding, he's just another character like just-Wynn, reverand, Dolly Parton, the Dean, and many of the other aliases on here. He takes on a personality with a goal in mind. This goal is usually, amusement. The problem is, we are annoyed by this particular personality. This person won't change, it gives them joy to play out this role and let it take whatever course it takes. It's an escape from an otherwise boring life. I would suggest giving negative rep for each and every quote we read from now on, and the situation will eventually solve itself.

Genius, I believe I'm beginning to understand you a little better the more I read your posts. Apparently you hide behind the quotes of others because you fear exposing yourself through your own comments.
It looks like we are all hide behind some avatar. Queen, why don't you expose yourself and post a real picture.

AlphaMale, we all simply asked TheGenius to start posting and join in on the conversations instead of quoting other people so we could have some intelligent and meaningful conversations here. So far, TheGenius hasn't proven to be a genius at all by his "quotes".
Oh, and thanks for the negative rep you gave me because I pointed out TheGenius used a quote from someone else.

If I had come up with the idea of the upside down Christmas tree, that would have been stupid (except for the fact that it must be making money for someone). My point in posting it was to voice my opinion that I thought it was a stupid idea, not to mention ugly. I never claimed it to be a Nobel prize winning post, but I wouldn't call it a meaningless conversation either. Not everything you post is brain surgery.

Nope. But this guy does have three. I kind of like the first one he registered, maybe he'll stick with it instead of making up several different names just to have fun with people and agree with himself.
