An orientation will be held on Saturday, November 12 for contestants for the 48th annual Forrest County Junior Miss program to be held February 18, 2006. The program is open to all junior girls that reside in Forrest County.

We had a good turnout for prospective contestants for Forrest County's Junior Miss. There are still room for more contestants. The deadline to enter is December 11.

There is no entry fee, but there are costs involved to participate, such as costumes, dresses, etc.

The Forrest County program is the oldest and most successful program in Mississippi, and over the past 48 years has given many thousands of dollars to high school girls to further their education.
