Hey everyone. I was getting alittle home sick when I found this site. Hopefully this will help pass the time and give me some connection with the home land.

Hello Romeo, welcome to the site and Happy Thanksgiving!! :) :D
Hey Romeo! Welcome! You mentioned getting homesick...where are you? Hattiesburg will always be "home" to me even though I've been gone for years and have found that being a member here helps that homesick feeling. Nice to have you on board. :)

Hello everyone and thanks for your greetings. Yes I'm a contractor in Iraq, based between Ramadi and Fallujah. I love what I do and I'm very proud to work beside the best fighting force in the world. Quite often I get to work with the Iraqi national guard. Its hard to describe their level of apperication for what were are doing here. The stories the young men can tell are astounding as well as very very sad. There's no doubt in my mind we are making a difference in this country. Although it might not be what the American people expected, but we are doing the right thing. I hope everyone has a great weekend and doesn't spend to much money. Off to work. Happy Holidays
