I've still got my old parking decal (well, most of it) from last year stuck on my windshield. I can't really figure out a good way to cleanly remove it. Is there some trick to it?

That's a good question, as I still have last year's decal on my windshield as well. When I had to remove my decal from my old car (so I could get a decal for my new car at a reduced rate), I had read on the internet that using a non-stick cooking spray would help loosen the adhesive bonds. So I did that. (A bit messy). Got the thing off in two pieces, though.
I noticed that the guys who put the inspection stickers on have a scrapper. Maybe if you went by one of those places and asked sweetly?

a single sided razor blade is the best. you can also get scraper where paint supplies are sold. that is about the same thing the guy uses when he does a car inspection. his scraper has a single sided blade in it. just about anything else causes a mess.

You are definitely right ynotme! My dad has a single sided razor blade, and he always removes my decals for me. :)
