New York Times article about Gulf Coast Clean-Up

NYT requires a registration, but there was an article (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/12/25/national/nationalspecial/26debris.html?hp&ex=1135573200&en=bb6813f35e642ec0&ei=5094&partner=homepage) in the online edition about the difference in how quickly clean-up is progressing in Hancock and Jackson counties, with the discrepancy seemingly related to whether the county decided to use the Army Corp of Engineers or hire a private company.

this seems right. i also zoomed in on the debris removal map. my parents live in pass christian. they signed the papers for the army corps of engineers to clear our debris early in october. today, our land looks the exact same way it did the day after the hurricane. nothing has been done.
