I have a king size iron headboard and bedframe for sale. I have no idea really what to ask for it. If you are interested drop me a line and I will send a picture. The headboard is very ornate and weighs a ton.

I need to get rid of it asap because the new headboard and frame will be here Friday and the old one will just be another p.o.c. laying around my house getting in my way.

Does it come with pictorial or other documented provenance? :-D

Absolutely not...no video either.:-D

how high is it?

I am assuming that you are talking about the height of the headboard since my bed doesn't do drugs (at least I don't think so). :-D

Anyway, the headboard is just under 5' tall.

I guess I should have been more specific. I meant, how high is the frame from the floor? I'm kind of interested, depending on mostly money and wife approval.

Probably about 6-8". Price negotiable.

Is that rope marks I see on the headboard?

Yeah, I was thinking of spray painting it black... But, nay, the wifey doesn't approve... not quite her style, she says. Good luck, though.

fyi -- don't know if any of you know about the website, http://livedeal.com
but u can post things to sell (no cost to post or buy). the thing i like about that website is that u can set it up just to sell it locally or all over and also if u want to buy things locally, u can set up ur search to view items within a certain mile radius. i think it would be a great place to sell things locally, but it needs more "local" people to post to make it better.
:-D

Thanks MSQueen! I had never heard of it, but I've been looking around on it for the last 10 minutes, and it seems to be set up almost exactly like Ebay. Other than advertisments, I wonder how the owner makes money if he doesn't charge for postings. :smt102

i think they charge for special types of listings by its members... it's all detailed in their info, but for u to just go in and list something 4sale with a picture of it, it is free, and u can list it to try to sell locally, just like in the newspapers or the little classified papers. they send u a reminder in ur email every month to let u know that ur listing will end at the end of the month and send u a link to a page if u want to re-list the items to stay on the board another month. there's no limit to how long ur items can stay on. i have some items on there, and as of now, nothing has sold, but it doesn't hurt to keep listing them since it is free.
like i said, once u get a sufficient number of local people aware of the website, and they start using it to buy and sell, then u really can see the benefit of it, AND U DON'T HAVE TO PAY H-A!!
