The forums will be going down for hopefully less than 30 minutes for a few upgrades this morning. I'll start it at 9:30. Just letting everyone know so your not in the middle of a long post when it goes down.

Should be done. Do a quick look across the link bar where all the forum features are (Arcade, vBookie, etc). Think you'll find a new link you might like. :)

One question...mine is showing a balance already. Is that what was there before the bank stoped working, the amount that you transferred to our accounts? If so, will you be taking that back or is it mine to spend?
Can you explain the buy forum password, and buy/deny/give forum access in a little more detail please?

It's in beta, so there might be some things that doesn't work. If so, just let me know.

Yes, they are there, but you can't use them right now. Only 4 or 5 features are enabled to buy. It's there so that if a forum wanted to, you could have a private forum that only the users that buy there way in can see it. No one will be able to buy your forum password or anything. Actually, no one but the forum knows it or can know it. Your password probably looks something like this to even me : RelsiMNVEterwMNE
When it is working, if someone buys "deny forum access", can we then buy our way back in?

It was getting pretty crowded up there, so it's now in the Quick Links.
Also, only the items dealing with your name and title are enabled right now. You shouldn't be able to buy anything else.

And, while we're asking - since there is a banking history of the amount of dollars we had in the bank when it went down, can that be redeposited? I was able to view my banking history (deposits and withdrawals) and my purchasing history.
Ummmm...didn't aaron put the amount of money you had in the bank in your pocket? Little double-dipping? I seem to recall there being a HUGE deal made about that when the bank first disappeared.

yeah, when the bank left I did give everyone their amount they had in the bank. That amount should still be there so you'll get to double-dip anyway. As far as the things you had already bought, that would take a long time to go to everyone's account and give them what they had.

I hear ya, QM. I find myself reaching for my glasses more and more. Guess that's part of being...what's a nicer term for getting older...more "life-experienced"? lol Still beats the alternative. :)
I did the same thing a year and a half ago, but I didn't go with the progressive lenses. Wish I had. I kept my old reading glasses at the computer and used the bifocals for driving, shopping, etc. Well, I can't seem to find my reading glasses now so for 2 weeks I've been using the bifocals on the puter, which is awful, having to tip my head up to look through the bottom...talk about a stiff neck. I did get contacts, but have been real lazy about using them.
