I didn't watch this last night, but I the Today show ran a little clip at the end of their show. Apparently a lot of couples had slips. I was watching Regis and Kelly and they were talking about it. One couple had a flawless routine until the last few seconds when the guy dropped her. His partner was not happy and gave him a glaring, lingering look.
Anyone catch this last night? Think they skate tonight for the gold.
Also has anyone noticed the medals this year are different? To me they look like CDs on a ribbon. Why the change? I'm sure someone here has the answer or is willing to search and find it! :-D

I caught the end of the ice dancing last night. It was incredible that 3 out of the 4 couples I saw fell at some point during their performances.
One girl was taken to the hospital.
The Italian couple was very good and the girl fell when her partner dropped her. She showed her Italian hot temper at her partner ....it was fun to watch.
THe American couple did very well...but the RUssian couple's score was higher. I think more of this is on TV tonight!

Did you see it tonight? They showed clips from throughout the day and the two didn't practice together or even look at each other until they got on the ice to start their routine. And even then the look was full of tension. Then when they finished with a decent routine the woman cried and acted as if she was sorry for being mad.
