    Lamar county car tags...

Any of you had trouble getting your tags? I've had mine maild too me for years and the one for my wifes car has not shown up yet. They say they mailed it on the 19th. It appears I'm going to have to pay $10 to get a substitute. :shake:

You should have them email it to you. It won't get lost that way.

An alternative to driving to Purvis is to buy your tag at the satellite tax assessor office located behind the Oak Grove Library on Old Hwy. 11.

Why is it always the wife's fault? Maybe YOU should check your own darn mail.

when the wife checks the mail routinely.. it becomes expected... therefore her responsibility to point out anything interesting

or maybe you could start cutting your own grass

When did I say it was your fault? Why are dragging up these old threads?

    Shouldn't you be working?

you've never worked at walmart.com, where lost emails are a daily occurance...

customer: I swear, I never got the emails
me: They were sent to you on X date at X time, etc. Is you email address X@X.com?
customer: Well, I never got the emails and I want my money back...
me: *mute*what a ****ing idiot.*unmute* just a second sir while I see how I can rectify this situation.

(BTW, I got in trouble for using the work 'rectify'. Apparently, it's too highbrow of a word to use when speaking to customers)

I know what you mean, but sometimes it could be legitimate.....well, maybe just a few times. My e-mail program had a setting that would classify certain e-mail it thought was junk or spam into a junk folder and some legitimate e-mails were going into it. Now I have it set where I can review it first.
