False alarm......middle schooler was shooting fireworks in the hall.

Scared the hell out of me when I saw the thread title. AGHHH! It's stressful living in our world.
Right after Christmas I went to a movie with my sister and every time someone walked in I thought about that theater shooting. I worry about my kids at preschool now. It SHOULD be a paranoid thought but it feels very possible these days.

I did just see on Yahoo News that there was another school shooting in CA......suspect in custody..........two wounded is all it said

Yep, it is sad...that is exactly what is wrong with kids today, they don't get any discipline...if they would get their butts tore up once in a while and told NO...it would surely make a difference... Seems those of us who got spankings sure towed the line.

Math teacher the last three years in high school was about 4" 10", 85 lbs. All she had to say to get the rowdiest one in line was "Do you want to go see Coach?".
Coach was also vice principal, and in charge of discipline, which in those days was a pine paddle.
Be respectful to your superiors, if you have any; also to strangers, and sometimes to others. If a person offends you, and you are in doubt as to whether it was intentional or not, do not resort to extreme measure; simply watch your chance and hit him with a brick. That will be sufficient.
