Me and Jr. busted some fireworks last night....'bout fitty bucks worth....anyways we bought some of what I thought were snap-n-pops. These were called thundersnaps. they weren't like the snap n pops. these looked like a firecracker without a fuse....and they pack about 10 times the power....I'm goin' back to get a case of these things. They are just fun. I threw the first one down right in front of me and it startled the hell out of me cause I figured it was just gonna be like the regular ones....I was wrong....
Oh and the neighbors bought some type of turret machine gun type thing. It was bad ass. I gotta go find out what it was today. It looked and sounded like anti aircraft fire streaking through the air.

Ya'll must not have law about that stuff in Melba. In Petal that's against the law to do.

hf it's at the fireworks stand in Sumrall by the catfish house. They are in a white box with blue and grey writing. the box is the same size as the snap n pops box.

I've eaten there bout' two times...there was so much hot womens that the toast lady wouldn't take me back. It was good though. If I had my pick of places to eat catfish it would be my house though and the ones I caught out of the river.....them danged Koreans and what not are tryin' to slip some of them non usa ones over up in here.......
just go to the seafood place and buy you a flounder or two...you will put catfish in the same class as vienna sausage.....

I am a wuss. I am scared of fireworks. I always have heard such terrible stories about the hazards of them. See, Fish you were playing with something you thought was safer than it really was. You could have been hurt. We want you all in one piece, you always have good stories we enjoy and can laugh at. BE CAREFUL! You'll be looking like burnt toast.

Losin' a digit or two always makes for a better story. I asked my grandpa how he lost the end of his index finger and he told me a cherry bomb.....then he went and made one for me.....I still to this day make some very nice cherry bombs.
I really just like watchin' stuff explode and catch on fire and stuff..

FB I know what you mean...of course If I make homemade bombs I have to have very long fuses because I can't run as fast or throw as far anymore...I would fall and break a hip or something then get blown-up
