If ya'll wait a year or so - I have a feeling there will be some paved areas available (cheap) at the site of the current Laurel area airport (or whatever it is called)!

There is a city park in San Marcos, TX with some thick woods just off a walking path. Well if you look close enough there is a nice beaten path that v-lines into those woods. If you go down that path you will find the craziest BMX track you have ever seen. These kids had to use shovels because nothing else could make it back into those woods. Anyways, the dirt track was a good size with huge dirt ramps all over the place. On the side of the track are sharp cedar tree limbs, and ginormous holes where the kids got the dirt to make the ramps. If you fall off the track your either falling into a hole, impaling yourself on a limb, or both. It is unbelievable.

4-wheeler/atv park... lot of the highschool kids around here go there all the time... Lots of videos on youtube about it. I think it is south of here around perkinston or something.
Red Creek is between Wiggins and Lucedale. Its an offroad ATV/4x4 truck park. Its huge ( just shy of 2,000 acres ).
I would love to open up one myself and even contacted the Jones County EDA about it. They kinda liked the idea, but it has to be built around or near a creek on land that floods relatively easily. There are 2 good places I came up with, one of them near my house. But the guy that owns most of the land was not willing to sell it. Its swamp land as is usefull for NOTHING, except a muddy offroad park.

Rock crawling and hill climbing is the rave and has been for a while now. I will have over 20g's in a Jeep when completed with the nearest place to ride being 5 hrs away. Add a rock garden, some hills and you will be surprised at the number of ORV,s that show up. NO MUD! hills and rocks.
