Re: Is this what the Democrat voters expected?

counting Iraq? Wasn't it costing something like a billion a month or something?

Another reason I like the Obama's is that Michelle Obama has made military families her cause.

The war on terror was 30 billion a month. It took over a year to spend what barack did in 50 days....

In a month, he has spent one/tenth of our national debt. Stop the people who print money out of thin air damn it.

Democrats don't care as long as they can think it's someone else's money.

Seems like half of Washington doesn't pay their taxes so maybe he should have chosen one of us. The earmarks I don't agree with but I guess he was trying to push the stimulus through quickly.

It took 8-10 years to get in this mess, probably take awhile to get out of it.
You're right petalgirl. But I'm more alarmed that he lied so easily. No more earmarks. Promised 5 days to read the stimulus bill. Nobody read it before they voted. We can't afford to pay for illegal nannys, much less 9000 earmarks! Clinton started this mess and Shrub did nothing to correct it. Veriy little "stimulus" in the package that will help early. Much won't begin to take effect for 2-3 years down the road. Just get out of the banking/loan business and let the natural capitalistic ecomomy work and it will right itself in less than 3 years without a package.

It is other people's money. Notice all the tax cheats that didn't make the final cut? And once all the plans of this administration are implemented, about 50% of the work force won't be paying ANY taxes. Guess which party most of those will be loyal to? So it's going to wind up that half of us will be buying votes for one party.

I do agree with that. I think the market should self correct. I thought at once that the bailouts could help but from further reading, it should self correct. It will hurt but we would be better off in the end.

Re: Is this what the Democrat voters expected?

The problem with most Obama supporter is that they are/were so emotionally invested in him that they are in the denial stage of this. It's like when you have a bad breakup with a girlfriend/boyfriend. For a time after it happens, your in denial and don't blame the other person. You still see the good in him/her and not the bad.

The rest of the Obama supports, well, I truely think they are ignorant to exactly what is going on. They have no idea just how much money he has wasted. They don't relized the crap he is pulling.

Friendly advice: Let's be very careful about belittling those who don't think like you or I do. I have no idea what they thought or what they think now. I voted for Shrub and he sucked, too. Of course my other choice was worse. At least Kerry wouldn't be led around the nose by Pelosi/Reid Every Pres. does good and bad stuff, but few realize what serious trouble this country is in now, including me. I'm not bashing Dems nor Obama, yet. I'm stating facts and asking questions, like WTF WERE YOU THINKIING
