They reported this stunning news: We have
more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on
earth. Here are theofficial estimates:
- 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
- 18-times as much oil as Iraq
- 21-times as much oil as Kuwait
- 22-times as much oil as Iran
- 500-times as much oil as Yemen
- and it's all right here in the Western
United States .
HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting
this? Becausethe environmentalists and others have blocked
all efforts to helpAmerica become independent of foreign oil!

You have overlooked the basic (and in my opinion brilliant) American strategic oil strategy. "Burn theirs first" One day the world will start running out of oil, when that happens if our current strategy works, we'll be the only ones who still have any. So, quit bitching before the suckers catch on.

If I EVER see anyone actually chained to a tree in Mississippi to make a "political action statement," I swear 'fore God that I will run up and lay a car antenna across his ass with majestic heavenly force.

Environmantalists can hate me all they want. I can still kick them in the balls and call them b*tches.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that Patty - but the misnamed environmentalists referred to here are not environmentalists.
They are emotionally driven wackos seeking warm fuzzy feelings and media coverage of their contrived dramas.
They'll never do anything truly useful.
They will never volunteer to clean up an empty lot in their own neighborhood.
They'll never volunteer to help clean up a section of a highway.
They'll never clean up the trash at a swim hole on a creek.
That sort of activity is rarely covered by the media. It doesn't sell newspapers; it doesn't sell air time.
Useless, frenzied, sensational ranting, raving and blathering and chaining themselves to trees do, sadly, sell very well.
I'll give 'em some small benefit of doubt and try to believe that some few of them, at least, are truly concerned about our environment and non-infinite resources.
They are, maybe, trying to justify their minuscule existence in a very large Universe.
We all are - but their efforts and energies are badly misguided even if well intentioned.
For the most part, however, that doesn't appear to be the case.

Now what in the world is wrong with not wanting to muck up the environment?
It is the height of arrogance to assume that we could ever actually destroy the Earth. We might make it uninhabiatbel for ourselves, but Nature will always fill any vacuum left by an extinct species.
Environmentalists are just do-gooder a$$holes trying to get attention. Most of them are Communists running their program under another guise; green on the outside, red on the inside...
