Keep in mind I am not done. I just finished the roof. The walls and floors come next. This lets me put my lawnmower and four wheeler underneath the roof so I can park my car in the garage now. The ground was/is pretty uneven.

The rafters warped after two days of sitting in my garage. Amazazing. And yes, I know it looks like crap but it's my crap! I built my own crap! I didn't hire illegals and the wood was produced in.... Canada.

Those posts you have it setting up on are gonna twist in about a year. But you can just build another one.

Gonna do wood floors in the living room and bedroom next.

We used the same thing to hold up the overhang on our shop and they're twisting. It's only been about 2 years. And yes they were treated.

Send a pic to Mike Holmes. He can tell you how to keep it from twisting and how to start over. I luv that show Holmes on Homes. I just wish they would bust out the contractors that fukt everything up.

Same problem with my carport supports. The old ones were rotting so I went with treated. Didn't take but a month before they started twisting and warping. I'll replace them with cypress next time.

Will they twist even if I have braced them with my walls and flooring? My FIL built something similar about four years ago and has had no problems.

Treated lumber sucks nowadays.........you should try to build fence outa that crap, and then try to please folks with it.

Get your floor & walls up as soon as possible, and it'll be alright.

you've got a little shade there, so that'll help.

I hate treated lumber, but there's not much of an alternative
