Upon registering at My Hattiesburg, you are given several basic rights as a member of our community. You become a member of the My Hattiesburg community at 20 posts. This document is established so that no future rules put in place would restrict the needs of the community to survive or would promote the abuse of power by moderators and administrators.

1. The right to discuss topics varying in nature in a respectful manner
2. The right to question the leadership of the community
3. The right to participate in polls/discussions on community matters
4. The right to have access to all public forums
5. The right to honest and fair treatment by community management
6. The right to access to clearly defined community rules
7. The right to privacy

With rights, comes responsibility. At My Hattiesburg, a member should try to do the following:

1. Treat administrators, moderators, and other members with respect
2. Read and comply with our rules
3. Participate in polls/discussions on community matters
4. Report posts that break our community rules
5. To have tolerance towards other's views and opinions
